A Premier Platform Driving Innovation and Collaboration in FinTech  

The ninth edition of the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) concluded on 8 November, welcoming 65,000 participants from 134 countries and regions. The event has further solidified its reputation as the world’s leading platform for financial technology, policy, and innovation.  

 Key Highlights of SFF 2024  

Insightful Forums and Roundtables  

The invite-only Insights Forum attracted over 2,300 policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders. Spanning 40 roundtables, discussions delved into topics such as the future of financial infrastructure and global net-zero pathways.  

Regulatory Innovations  

More than 3,400 government representatives from 665 institutions participated in the Regulation Zone, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI), quantum finance, cross-border data flows, and digital asset growth.  

Technological Advancements  

The Technology Zone showcased 64 sessions on AI, blockchain, and e-commerce applications, emphasizing real-world economic impacts across industries.  

Fostering Partnerships  

The Founders and Investors Zone hosted over 580 meetings, fostering connections between investors and startups during Investor Hours.  

Building Talent  

The Talent Zone featured 180 mentorship sessions and certifications, bolstering a future-ready FinTech workforce.  

Environmental Sustainability  

The ESG Zone highlighted the launch of Gprnt’s inaugural Disclosure and Marketplace offerings, simplifying sustainability reporting and aiding businesses in decarbonization efforts.  

 Vision for the Future  

SFF 2024’s achievements underline its mission to bridge global policy, technology, and financial sectors. “This year’s event has been a cornerstone in shaping the FinTech landscape. We are grateful to our partners, sponsors, and attendees for their unwavering support,” said the SFF Organizing Committee.  

As the festival approaches its 10th anniversary in 2025, plans are already underway for an expanded celebration. The milestone event will run from 12 to 14 November, with the Insights Forum preceding it on 10 and 11 November.

Organized by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), and Constellar, in collaboration with The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS), SFF has been the premier FinTech platform since 2016. Last year’s edition welcomed 66,000 participants from 150 countries.  

This year’s festival, held from 6 to 8 November, has reinforced Singapore’s position as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and transformative ideas in financial technology.
